Tadalafil(171596-29-5) is one of the two new PDE5 inhibitors launched for the oral treatment of male erectile dysfunction. Tadalafil is a b-carboline derivative and it is structurally distinct from vardenafil (Levitraw) and sildenafil (Viagraw), both of which are PDE5 inhibitors based on a fused pyrimidine core structure.
